Access Statement

 

Walla Crag holiday accommodation is part of a converted house, and is accessed up two steps at the front door, through a small porch and then via stairs to a first landing, where there is a bathroom and toilet, and up three more steps to a further landing where there is the kitchen/dining room, lounge and a single bedroom.

 

Further stairs lead to the top floor, with a turn on the landing, where there is a floor to ceiling window, and there are three bedrooms here – two double, one single with room for a z bed.

 

Facilities

 

Bathroom – there is toilet, sink and walk in shower cubicle.

 

Toilet – separate toilet is next door

 

 

Kitchen

 

Units are in u-shape at one end of the room with some wall units on two walls. There is a gas hob and electric oven. The fridge, freezer and microwave are all at a low level. There is table with six chairs at the opposite end of the room.

 

Lounge

 

There is seating for 6 people on a corner settee, there is one table in the middle of the room.

 

Single Room

 

There is one bed with bedside table, and built in wardrobe. Bed is accessible from one side only. The window is behind the top of the bed.

 

Double Bedroom 1

 

The double bed is accessible from both sides, the sink is behind the door and there is a built in wardrobe and two bedside cabinets.

 

Double Bedroom 2

 

The double bed is accessible from both sides, the sink is behind the door and there is a built in wardrobe and two bedside cabinets. This room has a Velux window.

 

Single Bedroom

 

The bed is accessible from one side only, the sink is on the opposite wall. There is a built in wardrobe near to the window and room for an extra z-bed if necessary.

 

 

Additional Information

 

All windows are original sash windows, opened by sliding upwards, apart from one Velux window in one bedroom and the small window in the bathroom, which opens outwards as normal.

 

There are smoke detectors and emergency lighting.

 

There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen.

 

There is no separate fire escape – access would be via the first landing window on to a roof and down to the ground.
